Medellin

Medellin is one of the most important cities in Colombia and is a destination highly valued by tourists. It is known as the city of eternal spring because it offers a very pleasant weather during all year and is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by green mountains.

Every year, thousands of people gather around their main popular festival: The Flower Fair. This celebration takes place in early August and features the largest horse parade and the largest outdoor flower show in the world.

Among other places you can visit the Botanical Garden where there is the largest orchid collection in the world, Botero Square which is an open-air museum in the heart of the city and Cerro Nutibara where you will find the replica of an old fashioned village built in 1978.
